The Carrelage Choisis de Gabés (CCG) is a limited company founded in Gabès in November 1977, by the late Abderrazak Battita, with a share capital of 60,000 dinars.
The company manufactures and markets all types of mosaic tiles, both in ordinary and marble stones with square or hexagonal shapes.
It also produces sidewalk tiles, stairs and stair risers. Its annual production capacity increased from 125,000 m² in 1979 to 600,000 m² in 1992, reaching 1,200,000 m² in 2013, that is 5,000 m² per day.
Being a key player in its field, the company started a technological modernizing process in 1983 with the introduction of the new automatic concreting technology. This innovation was reinforced in 1989 by introducing robotics, which has strenghtened its already efficient production processes.
The factory is all the time equipped with more modern and efficient machines (new presses, pellet washing station, new sandblasting machines) enabling it to improve not only the quality of the products, but also the working conditions of the staff. The creation of a sewage treatment plant was among the very first priorities of the management, which is aware of its role in protecting the environment as a key player in the field of industry.
The CCG has become one of the most modern companies in Tunisia thanks to the technologies used, the quality of its workforce which combines know-how and experience, and to its high quality products. The company is now looking forward to achieveing a world position on the international market.

CCG fabrique et commercialise des carreaux de trottoirs et tous les types de carreaux mosaïques de marbre aussi bien en pierres marbrières qu’en marbre local et marbre importé.
